Its a judged competition which that happens quarterly and offers artists some exposure and a decent prize if you win the competition.

The 7th Artists Emerge Competition

Theme: Color Temperature

Eligibility: Painting, Photography, Drawing, Mixed Media, and Digital Art. Artists are welcome to participate internationally. Entries are to be submitted in JPEG format.

Jurors: Kim Abraham. Read more about him on the Jurors Page

Awards: 1st: $400, 2nd: $50. Winners and honorable mentions will have work featured on our home page for 3 months, and from there rotate to our Gallery of Honored Artists for the life of our website.

Entry fee: Entry fee is $5 per submission.

Deadline: April 15th, 2009. Winners contacted and announced on April 20th.
