This apply to SOME of the D700's - most D700's are in a good working order.Nikon announced the factory to pause D700's production to repair and fix problems, - such as - Defective sensor • fails to deliver results without blown highlights at minimum aperture at low ISO • focusing screen is slightly misplaced • high ISO banding appears after ISO 800 • short battery life (expects to have at least 1,500 shots per charge but it dies after 250 shots) • AF-C tends to back-focus slightly.

Too many "BUT"s... =) ...Yeah she shakes the camera to the point even VR can not compensate in any way...I was gonna buy D300 but now I am confused. I better stick to my basic light D40X =((

German accent? Can't you tell a London accent from a German accent? She's reading off the brochure, isn't she? LOL! And is she trying to shake the camera to death?

samaniemontauk, to say the D300 is better is pure folly. You are simply ignorant of the facts. I am sorry you got caught with a D300 that is now technologically inferior and outdated. Too bad, so sad. . .Peace out

Well, she is cute, also have a German accent, and she demonstrated the camera's dust cleaning system by checking it so many times !

Horrible Review.

Sorry, full frame and better ISO than d300. D300 high ISO is like a d200, just a little better.I'll take the d700 any day!

THE MAIN FEATURE IS THE ........ sensor cleaner? Uhh, I'm pretty sure the full frame sensor is the most important feature. I'd love to have this camera. |
