The morning of Anna and Colin’s outdoor summer wedding began with the temperature rising; just as much as the excitement was for their day. Within the distance we heard heat bugs, as well as the faint calls of the alpacas who live right on site. This wedding was going to be great.
We gathered our gear and met Anna at the Five Bridge Inn, located in Rehoboth, MA. She was calm, cool, and collected as she showed us around the immaculate property. Staff at the Inn were busy preparing for the beautiful outdoor ceremony and the celebration that was to follow. We followed Anna to the main, beautifully air conditioned house, where we heard music, laughter, and welcoming bridesmaids greeting us. As every detail was near completion, Anna emerged from the bridal suite looking radiant and absolutely elated. She was ready to meet her guests, pat her dog Harbor, and see Colin for the first time.
After their touching ceremony, we gathered their family and bridal party to take some portraits before everyone convened under the gorgeous white sail tent. After their first dance and speeches, we borrowed Anna and Colin for a few addition portraits. The sun dipped low and was glowing a spectacular amber hue, perfect for some romantic photos. For the first time as a married couple, Anna and Colin stole a few quiet moments together. Their calming smiles, subtle touches, and tender kisses were heart warming to be present for, and we were so glad to be able to document them.
As the heat of the day transitioned to a comfortable summer evening, every last guest, including Anna and Colin, were having a blast. After documenting all the moments of such a wonderful outdoor summer wedding, we have no doubt in our minds that Anna and Colin are going to have a long, blissful marriage filled with laughter and calming smiles, and many pats on top of their pups head.
