Melissa and Dan flew in for the weekend from sunny Tampa, Florida into one of the coldest mornings we have had this autumn. They didn’t seem bothered by the chilly air, but more excited as we discussed their wedding plans and strolled out among the rocky coast in Biddeford Pool for their engagement session. Melissa wanted her engagement photos to give her wedding guests a taste of what they could look forward to in Maine. The East Point Sanctuary proved to be the perfect, private backdrop to do just that.
Both Melissa and Dan are fun loving people, who are simply a joy to be around. They joked as they sipped on cider and we quickly found their laughter to be infectious. At first, they both seemed a little nervous to be in front of the camera for their shoot, but warmed right up as quickly as the morning had. Their only wish is that their sweet dog Raleigh could have been there for their engagement photos. We’ll have to photoshop her in some so shes not jealous of their weekend in Maine.
These two are planning their wedding for September 2017 at The Landing at Pine Point in Scarborough, Maine. Originally being from the area, you can tell that Melissa is excited to share all of Maine’s goodness with Dan, his family, and all of their weddings guests who are traveling from all over. We can’t wait to celebrate with them.
