Upon first meeting them, Stephanie and Jaimes felt like old friends. Their laughter is warm, their stories (mostly of their adorable pups) are engaging, and their banter is heartfelt. Every detail about their wedding seemed to have a personal connection. So personal in fact, that Jaimes’ parents transformed their backyard into the most ideal and beautiful Southern Maine wedding location.
Laid back from the start of their day, Steph and Jaimes opted for a first look. We started just outside the newly renovated Biddeford/Saco Riverwalk and let Stephanie tap Jaimes on the shoulder for a glimpse of his bride. His reaction was priceless. It is truly amazing to be present for moments like that.
From there we traveled to the East Point Bird Sanctuary in Biddeford Pool to capture a few picturesque portraits. Both Steph and Jaimes were nothing but smiles as they prepared for their ceremony and celebratory party. Once we wrapped up their portrait session we joined their guests, already enjoying delicious looking hors d’evours from the Wicked Good Street Kitchen food truck and ice cold cocktails.
After heartfelt vows were recited, the guests where treated to piping hot pizza from Flatbread Company and live music from Jim Ciampi that got the whole party dancing. Their whole reception, from the ambiance, to the family and guests, was so warm and inviting.
Congratulations Stephanie and Jaimes. We wish you, and your pups, health and happiness through each anniversary. We can’t wait to see what the future brings you both.
